If you dream of seeing and photographing moose, caribou, black bears and an incredible number of magnificent bird species, this 10 day nature photo trip in Gaspésie is for you!


This exploration tour is guided by Thibaut Rivière and Jonathan Guillot. It is strictly limited to 4 participants maximum. Our explorations tours are a fantastic way to explore incredible places in a very very small group, taking advantage of the expertise of our guides for a very affordable price.

Day 1 \ We meet you in Quebec City. Depending on your arrival time, we may eventually explore a first place of interest for birds near our home.

Day 2 \ Discovery of the Marais de l’Isle-Verte, one of the largest spartine marshes in southern Quebec, recognized as a wetland of international importance under the Ramsar Convention. Shorebird observation. Departure in the afternoon to reach our cottage located near Bic National Park.

Day 3 \ Morning hike in Bic National Park which offers a multitude of incredible habitats. We will be able to see Common Eider and other northern duck species, seals, porcupines, deer, etc. En route in the early afternoon for Gaspésie National Park. Possible stops on the road for views and wildlife.

Day 4 \ Hike in Gaspésie National Park looking for Caribous, emblem of Quebec and species in decline. Observations of Moose, Porcupines, Spruce Grouse and many forest bird species are possible.

Day 5 \ Departure for Percé at sunrise. During the whole trip we will be looking for moose. At arrival, we will explore Percé Rock and the birds of the Bay of Percé.

Day 6 \ We will discover Bonaventure Island with a boat trip in the morning, an exceptional place for Northern Gannets, Penguins, Guillemots and other seabirds. The Île-Bonaventure-et-du-Rocher-Percé National Park is the largest migratory bird sanctuary in North America.

Day 7 \ Full day in Forillon National Park with a hike to Cape Gaspé (easternmost tip of Quebec). Our main goal will be to spot black bear, but encounters with beaver, porcupines, as well as many beautiful bird species.

Day 8 \ A second full day in Forillon National Park including a whale watching trip!

Day 9 \ We will take the road back to Quebec through Matane. Stops on the road are planned, especially to see the Harlequin Duck, a fairly localized species and one of the most extraordinary ducks in the world!

Day 10 \ Depending on your flight schedule, we will possibly explore a fantastic birding hotspot in Quebec.

As always during our wildlife tours, the highest ethics in wildlife photography will apply. Respecting and protecting our wild subjects is always the first priority. Animals are not called in nor baited, so no species can be guaranteed. Also, no sensitive information that could put a species in danger will be given.
