Our Ethical Wildlife Photo Tours are designed to provide you with an immersive and exclusive wildlife experience, respecting the highest ethics in terms of wildlife encounters and wildlife photography.

A fantastic 2 day tour in Rémuzat, Drôme, France, where there is a colony of hundreds of wild Griffon Vultures. This wildlife photography tour will be a great experience if you wish to discover and photograph the fascinating world of wild Vultures.

Bird photography workshop led by Emilien Vadam and Jonathan Guillot.

After having completely disappeared from the skies of France, vultures have been reintroduced to our great pleasure. The association Vautours en Baronnies is responsible of this successful reintroduction program in Rémuzat. During the workshop you will have the chance to meet one of the program's responsible in the field, observing wild vultures and learning everything about them.

Griffon vultures will be the stars of the show. And with a bit of luck we might also see the Cinereous vulture, the Egyptian vulture or even the Bearded vulture! Besides vultures, many other fantastic bird species are spotted regularly : Peregrine Falcon, Common Kestrel, Common Raven, Rock Bunting, Blue Rock-thrush, etc. Birding in Rémuzat is very enjoyable.

This workshop is strictly limited to 6 participants maximum. Having a small group is key. We disturb less the animals we encounter, and we can give you more of my attention to help you improve your photography. Expect to wake up early and shoot until sunset. We will immerse ourselves in nature for as long as we can!

Day 1 \ Meeting at our accommodation in the morning, we will directly drive to St May. From the parking lot, it is only a 15-30mn easy walk to reach the spot where we have the most chances to see the vultures. We will then spend the day along the cliffs, wandering in search of the magnificent vultures and other great bird species! Looking down, we might also see Chamois!
After sunset, we will walk back to our car and drive back to our accommodation, located less than 10km away. We will stay in a splendid BnB nested in the middle of nature. The evening will be spent around a nice dinner, and we will finish the day reviewing your pictures if you feel like receiving some constructive critique.

Day 2 \ We will wake up early, pack breakfast and lunch, and head again to St May before sunrise. We will enjoy the vultures all morning, watching them taking off with the first ascending winds. The workshop will end in the afternoon.
