Animals are not called in nor baited, so no species can be guaranteed. Also, no sensitive information that could put a species in danger will be given. Meeting place : Sagres
Meet in Sagres, a very beautiful little town in Portugal located in the extreme south west of the country, where birds meet in their thousands during their autumn migration to Africa. The Sagres peninsula is particularly exceptional for the migration of raptors: Booted eagles, Egyptian vultures, Griffon vultures, Short-toed Snake-Eagles parade by the tens or even hundreds depending on the day. All in an exceptional setting. The coast is full of sublime beaches and coves where the cliffs drop into the azure blue ocean. So we meet in the morning to start this birding tour, and follow an itinerary including the major birding hotspots of the Sagres peninsula. This excursion does not present any difficulty as there is relatively little walking and always flat.
